Bulk Delete and Restore Opportunities in SMBcrm
What's New: Bulk Delete and Restore Opportunities
SMBcrm now allows you to bulk delete and restore opportunities, streamlining pipeline management. Rather than removing records individually, you can select multiple opportunities at once and delete them in a single action, with the ability to recover them later if needed.
This capability is particularly useful when tidying up stale data, correcting import errors, or organizing crowded pipelines without permanent data loss concerns.
The feature is currently accessible in Account > Labs.
How Bulk Delete Works
Bulk Delete Opportunities
- Navigate to Opportunities
- Use checkboxes to select multiple opportunities
- Click Delete
- Enter DELETE to verify the action
The system processes bulk deletions asynchronously, allowing continued work while the operation completes.
Restore Deleted Opportunities
To recover deleted opportunities:
- Access the Bulk Actions page
- Find the relevant delete action and select the three dots menu
- Choose Restore to recover the opportunities
Important limitation: Opportunities associated with deleted contacts cannot be restored.
Bulk Actions Tracking
This tracking feature provides oversight and accountability:
- Monitor real-time status for delete and restore operations
- Identify who initiated actions and when they executed
- Review success and failure counts
- Access detailed per-opportunity results for troubleshooting
