Workflow Builder Adds 4 New Custom Value and If Else Fields

Overview​

SMBcrm has expanded its Workflow Builder with four new fields available for custom values and If/Else conditions. These additions enhance automation capabilities for users managing workflows.

New Fields Available​

The following fields are now accessible throughout the Workflow Builder:

  • Contact → Attribution Medium ID (from First/Latest Attribution)
  • Task ID
  • Note created by (Name)
  • Contact Engagement Score

Why This Matters​

These fields help you pinpoint lead sources with more precision and adapt follow-up based on engagement. The new additions reduce workarounds when building automation logic.

Key Applications​

Contact Engagement Score​

Enables routing based on scoring thresholds—for example, directing high-engagement contacts to faster follow-up branches.

Attribution Medium ID​

Helps track lead sources, particularly useful for reporting conversions from paid social campaigns like Instagram DM leads.

Note Created By​

Allows conditional logic based on the note author's identity, enabling team-specific notifications.

Task ID​

Facilitates integration with external project management tools by passing task identifiers to connected platforms.

Implementation Notes​

These fields appear in the Custom Value picker and If/Else condition builders. If data isn't available for a contact, workflows continue operating normally with empty fields.
